we went to the zoo with our friends, the maas's, yesterday and it poured the entire time we were there! it was hilarious...we spent lots of time looking at animals inside like spiders (and let me tell you, the dallas zoo has some creepy, southern spiders on display), naked mole rats and snakes. when we decided to run for the car in a rare moment of dryness, we couldn't resist the giant puddle in the practically vacant zoo parking lot!

WOW! It rains there...like it does in Panama & that is the jungle! (so I hear from Josh) I am glad you got to play in it too! When it rains here- like it did on Memorial day...we just stayed in like wimps.

yes, we miss those Texas down pours!! Phil saw a poor (dead) horse once on his way home in one of those storms...glad you were able to have fun despite the rain!
